Permanent positions for oncologists
Constantly new treatment options for cancer result in an increasing need for oncologists. On behalf of the Central Norway Regional Health Authority we’re looking for oncologists who are interested to relocate and work in Mid-Norway.
Expected tasks:
Medical oncological treatment and follow-up with cancer patients.
Radiation treatment (palliative radiation and curative breast radiation).
General palliative treatment for most tumour types.
Participation in clinical trials and research.
Training and guidance of resident doctors.
Qualifications:
European authorisation as a medical professional.
European certification as an oncologist.
Good overall knowledge and expertise in the oncology field.
Communication skills in one of the Scandinavian languages. Free language course will be offered to foreign candidates.
Personal qualities:
You interact with people in crisis in a respectful, empathetic and professional manner, as well as next of kin.
You seek to always cooperate well with your colleagues and contribute to a good working environment.
You convey complex information in an understandable way.
