Hi, Roumena from Trueffle here. I run a U.S.-based boutique digital marketing agency supporting clients in the education, creative, and healthcare industries. We manage everything from paid ad campaigns and content calendars to website updates and email automations.
Our remote team is small, collaborative, and focused on delivering excellent work while staying flexible and human.
This role is contract-to-hire, and we’re looking for someone who’s not just organized — but curious, strategic, and committed to growth. Someone who can help keep day-to-day operations running across several client accounts and grow into a trusted right hand over time.
What You’ll Do
This is a hybrid role — part project manager, part strategic thinker. You’ll start by managing timelines, reporting, and internal follow-up. Over time, you’ll become more client-facing — helping lead conversations, shape strategy, and stay one step ahead of client needs.
In the beginning, you’ll focus on:
- Managing project boards in Trello (keeping tasks, due dates, and priorities in check)
- Taking meeting notes (from internal calls) and organizing action items
- Monitoring how our team is spending time across accounts, to keep projects within scope
- Pulling and compiling monthly and quarterly reports (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Spotify, etc.)
- Writing up performance insights based on benchmarks, and proposing smart next steps
- Coordinating with designers, writers, and other collaborators to keep things moving
- Light weekend check-ins when needed to prep for the week ahead
As you grow into the role, you’ll:
- Present reports and campaign recaps directly to clients
- Join client calls and contribute to strategy discussions
- Help us make better decisions — not just complete tasks
- Spot gaps or miscommunications before they happen and offer solutions
This is not a “yes man” role. We’re looking for someone who asks why — someone who hears a request and considers the real goal behind it.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in project or account management, ideally in a digital agency or creative environment
- Fluent, professional-level English is absolutely required — both written and spoken. This role will eventually involve leading parts of client communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Proactive mindset — you take initiative and aren’t afraid to speak up
- Comfortable using Trello, Google Drive, Slack, and Google Meet
- Strong understanding of digital marketing workflows (ads, landing pages, email campaigns, content calendars)
Based in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, or similar) with availability to align with U.S. client time zones (mostly evening CET/EET)
