We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer, highly passionate about developing and operating performant, scalable and high available micro service oriented web applications. Joining one of our DevOps teams you’ll help us building and operating an innovative digital product for Miele professional customers.

Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of backend components in Spring Boot
Implementation of automated tests (JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium)
Design and implementation of infrastructure components for operating the system in the cloud
Co-design CI / CD processes in GitLab
Close cooperation with frontend developers
Active participation in the Scrum process
International cooperation with other DevOps teams
Must have requirements:

At least 5 years of experience with Java and 3 years of experience with Spring Boot
At least 3 years of profound experience in developing and operating microservice architectures using Docker, Nginx, Kubernetes, Postgres, OAuth/OIDC
Distinct hands-on mentality and communication skills
Affinity for CI / CD with a high degree of automation
Experience with GitLab and test tools (Cucumber, Selenium, Selenide, WireMock)
Ability to quickly familiarize with new topics
Experience and affinity for agile software development
Fluent English
Nice to have:

Knowledge of cloud providers such as Azure or AWS using infrastructure-as-code e.g. Terraform
Experience with IDP like Keycloak
Experience in monitoring solutions (Grafana, DataDog, Kibana)
