On behalf of the Central Norway Regional Health Authority we are seeking a gastroenterologist for a permanent position.

The hospital provides services in various fields, including emergency care, maternity ward, medical and surgical clinics, as well as psychiatry. The hospital is located in a picturesque town that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. The area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, both summer and winter.
The main responsibilities will include the diagnosis and treatment of patients with diseases in the gastrointestinal tract. The position can be partially conducted virtually if desired.

Qualifications:
European authorisation as a medical professional.
Specialist in diseases of the digestive system.
Competent in general internal medicine for on-call duties.
Proficient in gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Experience in outpatient follow-up of gastroenterological patients.
Communication skills in one of the Scandinavian languages. Free language course will be offered to foreign candidates.
