Role Overview

The Azure Cloud Engineer conducts analysis, architects, designs, develops, engineers, tests, implements, integrates, and supports multi and hybrid cloud solutions that are focused on driving business value for our clients. Serves as a subject matter expert or advisor on strategy, and requisite technologies that enable an organization’s digital transformation no matter where they are in their journey to the cloud. Works closely with clients in all aspects of an engagement to ensure ongoing alignment of solution expectations and reliable achievement of delivery milestones as set forth in well-documented project plans. Involved in all facets of the implementation, rollout, migration, integration, feature release enhancements, and testing. May also automate software engineering life-cycle, engineer containers, CI/CD, and DevOps Pipeline, configures and troubleshoots public cloud environment. Aligns business needs with capabilities.
Role Responsibilities

Contribute to design, build, and migration projects with Azure cloud solutions
Build, implement, and optimize solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements in Azure
Review architecture and solution design artifacts
Operate as a member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services
Recommend solution to internal/external stakeholders (director level and above) clearly articulating the pros and cons of various solutions
Proactively communicate with the Program/project managers by identifying, mitigating risks, assumptions, and issues, throughout the full lifecycle
Rapidly gain knowledge of emerging technologies in cloud and their potential application in the customer environment / impact analysis
Key Skills

Experience in building technical solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities
Hands-on experience in customization and implementation of modern cloud architecture for maximum flexibility, extensibility, and maintainability using Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience migrating on-premises applications into Azure Cloud
Hands-on experience with Azure networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, Virtual WAN, etc.)
Hands-on experience in creating DevOps pipeline using Azure DevOps tools
Hands-on experience in two or more Azure Computation products such as API Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
Preferred Skills

Undergraduate degree and 3+ years relevant experience
Deep domain experience with 2+ years work experience in Services, cloud computing or technical project delivery
Comfortable operating in global, distributed teams
Cloud Certification (Azure/AWS/GCP)
