We are looking for a strong Developer who is technically passionate, solution-focused
and able to design, develop, test and maintain to expand the functionalities of a bancking
portal/platform that is used by corporate clients (operating in 40 countries) globally .
This platform gives clients real-time insights and a single point of access to manage
financial transactions from any device. The platform is now available to clients in 17
countries. Services such as Payments, Loans, hedge products are being made available
to clients.
Your day-to-day
• As a Software Engineer you will work on the global banking portal for our corporate
clients
• Technically responsible with your scrum team for the solution
• Able to help with a diverse ecosystem: from web development to ORM to Docker and
even AI API (Chat Bot)
• Talk to various stakeholders to gather requirements to make the solution production
ready
What you bring to the team
• A university degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
• Willingness to work on Backend and Frontend
• Java experience (3+ years), Java 1.8
• Experience with the Spring framework, REST and SOAP APIs
• TDD mindset
• Scala (optional)
• JavaScript (ES5) + AngularJS 1.4.x + Angular Bootstrap 1.3.2.
Additionally about the technology stack
• RESTful APIs: Spring WebMVC for exposing services via REST
• Persistence: SpringData JPA 1.9 for interactions with the database.
• Liquibase for versioning database schema’s.
• CI/CD tools like Confluence, Maven, GIT, Fortify, Jenkins. XCode 6.2 (for iOS).
• TestNG for unit testing (Java) Karma + Jasmine for unit testing of JavaScript code
• Tomcat 8.x with Spring Boot/Pivotal tc Server
• Strong cooperation with international colleagues
