As a Data Engineer you will be part of the Data Science team. This is an independent team with focus on innovation and cutting edge technologies. The new colleague will work closely with other team members and will have the chance to make a name in company by working on important business-facing projects. You will report to Team Lead and further to stakeholders. The Data Engineer should prove knowledge of data structures, data systems and ETL processes. Our future colleague feel comfortable in working across our distributed data systems and acting as a reliable colleague for the data scientists in preparing data sets needed FULL REMOTE The qualified candidate will have the following responsibilities:  Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimising our product into an innovative industry leader.  Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.  Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.  Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.  Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies.  Build analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.  Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods using Docker files.  Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.  Conduct research for industry and business questions.  Hold presentations  Develop, constructs and maintains architectures  Recommend and sometimes implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality Technical Skills:  Advanced SQL knowledge  Experience working with SQL and NoSQL data systems: SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4J,SnowplowAWS Redshift, etc.  Experience with scripting languages: Python, php, Scala,PostgreSQL,etc.  Desirable to have experience working with BigData systems such as Hadoop ecosystem
