TECHNICAL ANALYST (architecture and devops)
Responsibilities:
• Building reference architectures and prototype reference implementations using microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and mentor other software development teams to transform their apps and services into microservices, containers and cloud-native architectures.
• Defining and documenting the overall architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements, supporting the estimates (costs and effort) and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs).
• Technical leadership in designing deployment related activities, providing guidance, performing code reviews, preventing and resolving technical issues.
• Analysis of code and communication of detailed reviews to development teams to ensure continuous improvements in applications quality.
• Collaboration with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security
• Depth knowledge of specified technological areas, including applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks.
Technical skills:
• Experience on Linux technology, including containers;
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (private and public): Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.;
• Hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management, automation and Deployment tools: Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.;
• Proficient in scripting and Git workflows;
• Experience in developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD, Jenkins);
• Hands-on experience on cloud native development topics, such as Kubernetes applications development, microservices oriented architectures, Infrastructure as code,
polyglot applications, service mesh.
