Nature of the tasks
Architecture and design of information systems
Review of the architecture of existing systems
Design and development of architecture components and building blocks
Analysis of the integration of different information systems
Data analysis and data modelling
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
Production of software architecture documents
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

Knowledge and Skills
Excellent and proven knowledge of service oriented architecture and design of Web- applications with databases
Experience in cross platform design and services orchestration
Good knowledge of modelling tools
Experience with interoperability solutions (XML, XPath) and JMS
Experience with the use of tools for application lifecycle management (SMT, Jira, Wiki's etc.)
Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, Javascript/Typescript)
Good redaction skills and ability to give technical presentations in English
Ability to apply high quality standards
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills
Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment

Specific Expertise (Level 4)
The specific expertise experiences are cumulative:
Excellent knowledge and proven hands on experience of Java/J2EE (including Spring/Spring Boot/hibernate frameworks)
Excellent knowledge and proven experience with Service Oriented Architecture and development of Web Services and the JEE frameworks and APIs, in particular asynchronous communication (advanced queuing) and APIs
Experience of Configuration Management and continuous integration practices and tools like SVN, Git, etc.
Knowledge of Oracle products like WebLogic, Oracle Database 11g is mandatory
Knowledge of Java JMS and linking with frontend frameworks (Angular/Typescript) is an advantage
Experience using JIRA and Confluence is an advantage
Experience of integration with workflow tools (Camunda/Activity) will be an asset
