We are currently searching for a Java Developer for a company which is an international leader in providing software services. With clients in more than 50 countries worldwide and offices in 46 locations, they are a recognizable name in the field of IT consulting. Their experience in the industry spans for over three decades and their success has not gone unnoticed as they have consistently gained a Top Employer status in many countries, including Romania. The company provides a wide range of IT services including application integration, testing, maintenance, infrastructure management and others. While their partners are in the thousands, most notably they actively work and collaborate with renowned companies like Microsoft, Google, AWS, IBM, Nokia, Oracle and many others.

Right now for one of their projects in the banking industry, the company is looking for a Java Developer to join their team in Romania with the possibility of working remotely. In this capacity your responsibilities will include:

• Work in close collaboration with other developers in the team through pair programming and code reviews;
• Software development in Java and Spring;
• Refactoring of existing Java code in the integration layers;
• Maintenance and further development of the development environment;
• Pro-active use & further development of tooling;
• Work in diverse technology stacks: Java EE, EJB, CDI, JPA.

These are the requirements for the role:

• 2+ years of software development experience;
• Have a strong drive to build high quality systems and improve the quality of existing systems;
• Experience building applications in more than one language Java EE, EJB, CDI, JPA;
• Experience with Spring framework;
• Excellent communication in English; written and spoken;
• Ability to produce clean, efficient code based on specifications;
• Ability to develop and integrate software components and third-party programs;
• Experience with Angular will be considered an advantage.
